For more than 25 years, Lumetra Healthcare Solutions has been a trusted resource and partner in the business of healthcare, leading quality improvement campaigns across the healthcare continuum. We have worked with over 300 hospitals, more than 100 nursing homes, and many other provider organizations.
We have executed strategic plans to standardize protocols and improve the safety and quality of care for patients. We have worked with hospitals to redesign systems of care, support hospital data reporting, and improve quality and safety. These programs included successful initiatives to reduce adverse drug events, surgical care complications, and hospital-acquired infections.
We also assisted hospitals in improving their readiness for health information technology adoption and worked with Rural and Critical Access Hospitals in assessing and improving their patient safety culture.
One example of our work is Lumetra’s role as a coordinating node for the Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) on its 5 Million Lives Campaign to encourage hospitals to protect patients from five million incidents of medical harm over a two-year time period.
