AIMS Software
The collection and reporting of patient safety events in healthcare facilities is facilitated by the use of common definitions and reporting formats — Common Formats — developed by the federal Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ).
The AIMS product allows healthcare providers to collect and submit standardized information regarding patient safety events, including incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions, easily and efficiently.
Using AIMS providers have access to a highly granular ontology (24,000 available concepts) to provide an integrated electronic solution for collecting, tracking, reporting, and managing patient safety activity which goes beyond those taxonomies currently offered by AHRQ today.
