Patricia Daniel, RN, CPHQ, Chief Executive Officer and Vice President, Clinical Services

Patricia Daniel has led the Clinical Services business unit of Lumetra Healthcare Solutions since joining the organization in 2006. Ms. Daniel plays a key role in program development, strategic planning, and managing multiple projects to meet contract and regulatory requirements. Ms. Daniel takes the lead in positioning Lumetra as the premier national expert in medical review to support the company’s mission and goal, and represents the company to all stakeholders. She also provides guidance in interpreting and implementing client regulations into review procedures and operational leadership for all contracted activities. Additionally, Ms. Daniel oversees the recruitment and management of an external peer review panel of more than 250 physicians.

Ms. Daniel’s career reflects her expertise in, and dedication to, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations, patient’s rights, and business growth.

Prior to joining Lumetra, Ms. Daniel held positions of similar responsibility at Health Net of California where she served as Assistant Vice President, Statewide Utilization/Case Management and Regional Director Medical Management and Quality Improvement. During her tenure at Health Net, she oversaw public programs including Medi-Cal, Healthy Families, Healthy Kids, and Access for Infants and Mothers. She also held leadership positions at Travelers Health Network and United Healthcare, and clinical and management positions at Loyola Medical Center and Central DuPage Hospitals in Chicago, Illinois.

Ms. Daniel holds a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Elmhurst College in Elmhurst, Illinois, as well as an Associate of Science in nursing from Triton College in River Grove, Illinois. She is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality.

Kimbelee Snyder, Vice President Healthcare Informatics

Kimbelee Snyder is the Vice President of Healthcare informatics for Lumetra Healthcare Solutions, leading a team of informatics specialists.  She currently directs the Medi-Cal California Technical Assistance Program, working with providers to implement and optimize electronic health records and achieve meaningful use.  In addition, she is responsible for consulting services to help providers optimize EHRs and report on clinical quality measures.

Prior to her position at Lumetra Healthcare Solutions, Ms. Snyder was Director, Healthcare Informatics for Health Services Advisory Group, the Quality Improvement Organization for California.  Through work with public and private sector health care organizations, her skills have been proven in the areas of EHR optimization and quality improvement.   Ms. Snyder's background includes serving as the Project Director on the ONC sponsored Health Information Security and Privacy Collaborative as well as key roles in health information exchange projects.  She has also worked as a strategic consultant for state Medicaid programs in Arizona and Maryland, and is also the founder and former president of the Alliance of Technology and Women.

Ms. Snyder holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.

Damien Mar Chong, M.B.A, Chief Financial Officer

Damien Mar Chong leads the finance, accounting and corporate services (HR, IT, facilities) functions at Lumetra Healthcare Solutions.  He has more than fifteen years of experience in strategic business planning, finance and accounting, and government and commercial contracting. Mr. Mar Chong is responsible for all GAAP accounting, audits, government contracting compliance, budgeting and analysis; proposal pricing, cost control, and cash management; HR benefits and 401(k) compliance; information technology; and facilities. He previously worked at Stanford University and SAIC.

Mr. Mar Chong has a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Hawaii at Manoa and a Master of Business Administration from the University of California at Davis.
